01/22: Let's Promise
To stay inspired.
To share the love.
To make new traditions.
To erase polio from existence.

It's going to be a second semester to remember. It's never too late..
October saw a fierce turn-out at the annual Fall Leadership Conference. As a District, we broke last year's record, and surpassed this year's expectations with 1200+ Interactors. The beautiful part? All Areas were well-represented. Competition was intense, no doubt, but there's no fighting Interact love.

At Light the Night, Mt. Pleasant's Team Mish increased its impact by inviting other Areas of District 5170 to join. We came, we hugged, we walked for Leukemia and Lymphoma.
Eric Chen- He alone raised $500!
Volunteers who stood out at September's Day in the Park Multicultural Event were invited to attend the Sharks v. LA hockey game at the HP Pavilion. Box Seats. Zamboni-watching. Shoot out. Sharing fries with the Councilwoman, Rose Herrera. Luxurious living. Thanks Nick of San Jose East Rotary for providing the volunteer opportunity!

I truly enjoy being your director, (: ZAMBONI!

Area 8 Interactors from Silver Creek, Evergreen, Mt. Pleasant and Overfelt met with Rotarians of San Jose East at the Ranch Golf Club for lunch. A Christmas song was sung, an inspiring ENDPOLIONOW video was shared and friends were made. Thank you Rotarians for having us, and allowing us Interactors the chance to share with you what we are most passionate about.
**Evergreen Times picture to come, hopefully.
